The final statement and recommendations of the international conference held by the Arab and Islamic Gathering in Support of the Option of Resistance on the first anniversary of the martyrdom of the Quds Force Commander Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani and the Popular Mobilization Leader Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis.

For three days (January 2, 3 and 4), the Arab and Islamic Gathering in Support of the Option of Resistance held a global conference marking the one-year anniversary of the martyrdom of the two leaders Qassem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis and their companions in a treacherous US raid ordered by Trump himself, and carried out in Iraq bypassing national sovereignty, in a blatant and barbaric attack on Iraq, its sovereignty, its unity, and the credibility of its government, as well as the resistance alliance with its factions, states and armies targeted altogether.

Arab, Islamic and international political, academic, cultural, scientific and professional figures participated in the conference, and the number of those who attended was eighty personalities from the five continents in Arabic, English and Spanish languages.

The speakers explored the characteristics of the leaders and their historical roles in raising the spirit of resistance and supporting its factions in the nation, and the remarkable historical victories achieved under their leadership that changed the reality of Arabs and Muslims, nations and the free world.

The speakers shed light on the strength, power and presence of the resistance alliance, and its accumulated experiences and victories. The resistance countries and factions confirmed that the assassination of leaders only increases the axis’ persistence and determination to take revenge, extract more victories and accumulate them out of loyalty to the martyrs and leaders and to continue in the same approach and on the same path until the goals and objectives for which they were martyred are achieved.

The speakers emphasized that the experience of the resistance with the emergence of the Iranian Islamic revolution and the rise of the Islamic and Arab resistances enshrined the fact that “as long as you kill us, the more the spirit of the revolution flares up and deepens in our peoples and youth, and the axis of resistance is proud to present the leaders, defense ministers and chiefs of staff as martyrs in the fields.” The resistance will not be defeated and will not hesitate to do more and offer sacrifices until it reaches victory, which is closer than before, through the intercession of the blood and souls of all the martyrs and the leaders among them.

The proceedings and sessions of the conference were conducted via social networks specifically (Zoom), and the interventions and conclusions were as follows:

The speakers and interlocutors unanimously agreed: Hajj Soleimani, commander of the Quds Force in the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, had great advantage in training, arming and supporting the resistance in Palestine, Lebanon, Iraq, Syria, Yemen and other countries, in the face of the American, Zionist, terrorist and reactionary axis, and a major role for Hajj Abu Mahdi, the engineer, leader of the crowd Popular in Iraq by defeating the imperialist project of hegemony and control over the region and limiting the role of Israel. With the resistance role of the martyrs, the nails of the Americans and their allies in the region and the world were trimmed, and the equation was achieved for deterring the Zionist entity and securing the steadfastness of the Palestinian resistance in Gaza, and failing to break the will of Syria and its brave army and its leader, President Bashar al-Assad, and the steadfastness of the Yemeni resistance in the face of the unjust coalition led by Al Saud.

And because they fulfilled all the conditions for inflicting a historic defeat on the retrograde Zionist imperialist Arab project, the arrogant Trump took the decision to physically liquidate the two martyrs, with the participation of several parties near Baghdad airport.

Recommendations:

The participants in the conference agreed and concluded the following conclusions and recommendations:

• Assassination constitutes a “crime of aggression” described in the International Criminal Law, Article 8 of the Rome Statute. This crime is one of the most serious international crimes committed by states and the states that had commit that crime should be held responsible as well as the persons who commit it.
• The Nuremberg Court considered it the most dangerous international crime, as it includes in itself all the evils resulting from other crimes and what is related to them. United Nations Assembly Resolution 3314 in 1974 provided a definition for it that political assassination threatens international peace and security. From this standpoint, the conference participants concluded:
• Filing a case before the International Court of Justice against the State of the United States of America and prosecuting it in front of all international organizations and bodies to condemn it due to the brutality of the crime it committed and its threat to international peace and security.
  Also to prosecute Donald Trump before the competent national and international courts along with everyone who incited and participated in committing this crime.
• Encouraging the families of the martyrs to file cases against Donald Trump and all those who prove his participation in the assassination with the leaders of the Zionist entity, specifically Netanyahu.
• Inflicting legal and political retribution from the Islamic Republic of Iran and Iraq against those who took the decision, participated and implemented the assassination.
• The assembly proceeded to form a legal committee composed of lawyers, judges and professors of international law with the mission of presenting a study on the crime of assassinating the martyred leaders in light of international law, international human rights law and international criminal law, and following it up before international and national organizations, courts, and competent authorities.
• The assembly invites the specialists to communicate with the general secretariat of the assembly to coordinate so that all efforts can be combined.
• Enforcement of a media and advertising plan, through all, to highlight the legal aspect of the acts of organized state terrorism by the criminal, imperialist, Zionist and reactionary coalition, by assassinating the resistance fighters and jihadists, considering that resistance and self-defense is a right enshrined in international humanitarian law.
• Greetings to the masses of the resistance and its supportive environments in the face of the misleading and unjust media campaigns that try to portray the battle between the Arabs and Iran as a deception to cover up the Arab and Islamic reaction’s submission to US imperialism and reveal the fact that the alliance between some Persian Gulf states with the Zionist entity terrified by the Lebanese and Palestinian resistance is evidence of this submission.
• Salute the Islamic Republic of Iran for its continuous support for the resistance in all its factions.
• Supporting and encouraging the efforts of the Islamic Republic of Iran in scientific advancement and technology acquisition.
• Work to make, in the near future, more robust and in-depth integrated development plans between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the countries that work with it everywhere to defeat injustice in the fields of industry, agriculture, trade, construction, health, culture, education, security, energy, environment, diplomacy and defense, through long-term treaties, to achieve at least the following goals:
• To circumvent the blackmail and the injustice of the global monetary and diplomatic systems
• To strengthen and grow the brotherly, cooperative, allied relationship which consecrates generation after generation to block the path of conspiracies and maneuvers, and sanctifies a stable force in a region that is the center of the world, the equation of its peace and the source of its storms.
• Pushing for an area free of American bases.
• The importance of deepening strategic cooperation between the resistance countries.
• The importance of launching and communicating globally with global alliances and friendships against the Zionist American arrogance.
• Continuing to expose the empire’s tools and maneuvers to falsify the facts and expose everyone who plays a traitorous role.
• The importance of retaliation equally to each attack against the resistance axis.
• Continuing to develop the incubating and productive environment for the scientific and practical resistance persona.
• The conference calls on the Palestinian brothers and the Palestinian resistance factions to end the division, achieve national unity, withdraw recognition of the Zionist entity and the Oslo Accord, and not return to security, economic and administrative coordination with the occupier and immediately work with the outcomes of the General Secretaries ’Conference which took place last September.
• It is illogical for the Arab parties to demand confrontation with normalization, while the leadership of the Palestinian Authority welcomes normalization with the Zionist entity. Therefore, the leadership of the Authority must take historical decisions without hesitation and without delay. “And to assume its historical responsibility and to enter into the account or fall from every account,”
• The conference calls for adherence to the Palestine Liberation Organization in accordance with the principles of the Palestinian National Charter, which affirms the liberation of Palestine through armed struggle, and the renewal and escalation of a massive popular uprising that removes from its path those who coordinate with the occupation and alienates the hesitant and negligent who negotiated in vain for more than a quarter of a century, and launches resistance in its various forms to exhaust the Zionist enemy movement, until its defeat and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with full sovereignty over all Palestinian soil and its capital, Al-Quds Al-Sharif, and the achievement of the refugees’ right to return in accordance with UN Resolution 194.
• The martyrdom of Hajj Qassem and Hajj Abu Mahdi is a catalyst for changing the judgements and the vision about the role of the resistance axis in the Palestinian struggle.
• Converting all the contributions made to the conference into a book for the “Arab and Islamic Gathering in support of the choice of resistance” to be printed and considered in honor of the two martyrs.

In order to immortalize and record the experience of the martyrs leaders, the following must be done:

• Production of films and series about this unique and wonderful experience.
• Disseminating their experience and teaching it in military courses in the Axis of resistance military colleges.
• A number of books have been published about their role and history; these books should be used to be taught in schools to educate a new generation that believes in resistance.
• Naming a number of schools, hospitals, charities, mosques, universities, etc. with their names, to commemorate their memory.
• The establishment of the Suleimani and Al Muhandis Foundation for Orphan Care in Palestine, Yemen, Lebanon, Syria and Iraq.
• The establishment of the Suleimani and Al Muhandis Foundation for innovators in artificial intelligence technology.
• Fulfill their wills by following their approach in order to achieve the goals that they fought for.
• Integration of the role of the unified national leadership in all occupied Palestine with the resistance camp in the Arab region, the region and the world in order to coordinate joint action and cooperation in all arenas, especially in Lebanon and Syria, where hundreds of thousands of our Palestinian people are ready to mobilize to support the national resistance factions abroad.
• Coordination with the Arab peoples in Bahrain, Qatar, the Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Sudan and Morocco, fortifying and strengthening the immunity of Kuwait and Oman in the face of the American Zionist attack, and cooperating with its popular movements and mass unions in order to drop the joint agreements with the Zionist entity and besiege all who cooperate with it.
• Legal resistance against war crimes and crimes against humanity committed by the American-Zionist forces of aggression, whether in occupied Palestine or Yemen, Syria, Iraq or Lebanon.
• Emphasizing the role of women in resistance and confrontation and strengthening the leadership role of women in the countries of the axis of resistance, their participation in making the future, and interest in the culture of the child and the role of the mother in spreading the thought of resistance, confronting a culture of false awareness, and providing support to the media of the resistance.
• Providing care and endowment for the resources available to the offices of the axis of resistance in Europe and the world.
• Adopting the year 2021 to confront the reactionary Arab normalization.
• Contacting the boycott movements to expand the circle of boycotting the products of the Israeli enemy.
• Calling on Arab and international parliaments to work to isolate the Israeli enemy and to prosecute it for the war crimes it committed against the people of Palestine, the peoples of the region, and the freedom of the world.
• Supporting the steadfastness of the Palestinian detainees and launching an international campaign for their release.
• Greetings to the resistance in Lebanon, Palestine, Syria, Iran, Cuba, Venezuela, the Yemeni and Iraqi people, the peoples of our Arab and Islamic nation, the freedom of the world and all the forces of progress and peace in the world.
• Condemnation to all countries of normalization in the Arab region and the region, and all media outlets pushing for normalization.
• Building a united resistance front across the region to topple the alliance of American-Israeli aggression and Arab disappointing behavior.
• The establishment of a technical and media committee to manage an opposition to the new definition of Semitism by the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance, which considers criticizing Israel equal to criticizing the Semites.
• The attendees emphasized the slogan: “Unity + Resistance + Betting on the Palestinian People + Intifada = Victory.”
• With victory and the return of Arabian AlQuds as the eternal capital of all Palestine, it will be the most beautiful and deserving loyalty to the martyred leaders and to all the martyrs of our nation and the free world.
• The conferees decided that their conference would remain open to follow up on every new event and expand the circles of cooperation and interaction with all the free people of the world to support the resistance, deepen its approach, develop its alliance and its axis until the complete victory presented by the liberation of Palestine, the unification of the nation and the establishment of a struggle unity and union among the region’s ancient nations to create an effective position and partnership in reformulating the Global system and its development and modernization.
