In the name of God the Merciful

▪️ Yesterday our brother and friend, writer and journalist passed away * Youssef Freij * Head of the Media Office Syrien branch of the Global Gathering to Support the Resistance Option

. ▪️ The man who worked silently and tirelessly in defense of Palestine, Syria and Arabism is gone.

▪️ He left without disturbing those around him with his pain, he stayed at the last moment while he read, wrote, published and followed, and carried out his great duty with all his intellectual and physical strength.

▪️ Everyone who knew the journalist-writer, Youssef Freij, inevitably mourned him, and as we in the Gathering we were deeply saddened.

▪️ His passing is a great loss in every sense of the word and sadness.

▪️ In my name and on behalf of the administrators, members and friends of the Global Gathering to support the choice of resistance, I extend to the Syrian press, the Syrian people and the family of the deceased, my most sincere condolences,
