At its headquarters in Beirut oan the tw’enty-fifth of May, in the presence of a crowd of representatives of the national and Arab parties and forces affiliated with the axis of resistance and many academics, writers and media personas headed by Dr. Yehya Ghaddar Secretary-General of the assembly, at six o’clock in the evening, Wednesday, on the mentioned date.
After Dr. Ghaddar delivered his speech, a number of attendees took turns on the podium, where they participated in speeches in which they talked about the victories of the resistance, for which the victory of May was a title and an occasion to talk about its gains and victories and its opponents who are now confined to sharp corners, represented by the normalizers and other hostages to the enemy directly or in crooked ways, but in the end, they are exposed and are no longer able to hide or cover up.
The discussion was about the achievements of the resistance and the divisions that revolved around it and about its existence, where the enemy and its allies are exposed, and the resistance confronts them with its allies and supporters with its steadfastness and its fight against the enemy in all its forms and colors at various international, national and local levels and the difference became clear, and it distinguished between enemy and friend.
The difference became clear as he distinguished between the enemy and the friend. Then some referred to the Lebanese elections and the like stormy interventions under the guidance of the Saudi and American ambassadors, and the tremendous efforts made in them to besiege the resistance.
Nevertheless, the balances on the Lebanese arena remained in the balance of the resistance represented by Hezbollah and its allies.
The participants hoped that the results of the elections, including the illegal expenditures and their defects and manipulation, would be a lesson for the axis of resistance for the future in terms of steadfastness, mobilization and determination to confront all the puppets to thwart their projects and preserve national unity in all aspects and at various levels and levels.
Some of the attendees also pointed out the inability of the authority to control things and confront the stifling crises represented by theft and looting, especially with regard to the dollar exchange platform hidden in the corridors of the American embassy, fuel, electricity, bread and the like, which is suffered by the vast majority of the Lebanese, and they agreed that the quota system was a door to corruption.
The attendees also believed that the solution would not be except to abolish the sectarian system and consider Lebanon as one electoral district outside the sectarian constraint to face all challenges, after everyone condemned the interventions of the Saudi ambassadors and his American master, and considered them an insult to sovereignty and a violation of protocol and diplomatic norms.
The attendees called for confronting this intervention with unity and solidarity and supporting the choice of resistance, on the understanding that its weapon that liberated the land and the people is a legitimate weapon with no doubts about it, and that the weapon of the militias that fought with the enemy under the leadership of what is known as the Lebanese Forces is the subversive and Fitna weapon, and it is the only weapon that has no legitimacy at all and should be left and the courts of its bearers on charges of treason and loyalty the enemy.
As we also referred to the speech of the Secretary-General of the Global Gathering, Dr. Yahya Ghaddar, we refer here to the participants. Mr. Michael Awad presented a reading of the results of the parliamentary elections and the challenges that they entail. In the reading came the following:
Evaluating the elections and from the perspective of the political battle that America and its allies and tools sought to target the resistance and its weapons by securing a majority loyal to America to besiege the resistance and strip it of its legitimacy. The results came as a defeat for America and its project. The resistance achieved more of its popular, constitutional and pact legitimacy. 77 sovereign national representatives with the option of resistance, and this was reflected in the confusion and tension of the US administration, as reported by Schenker and Hale’s tweets and statements.
In reading the results from the perspective of the possibilities of containing the stormy social and economic crisis that is hitting Lebanon, it can be concluded that the elections increased the fragmentation of the large blocs and made Parliament the possibility of reaching political understandings and deals to produce political and societal stability. Most likely, the parliament’s sessions will be tense, unproductive and possibly disruptive due to the delicate balance and the absence of a balanced majority.
