Statement of the global gathering in support of the choice of resistance
Concerning the Zionist terrorist aggression against Syria
On Sunday, 2/19/2023, Syria was subjected to a barbaric Israeli-Zionist attack with missiles that targeted residential neighborhoods in the city of Damascus and its surroundings, where dozens of martyrs died, and scores of wounded women, children, and the elderly were injured, and material damage was inflicted on a large number of buildings and public and private property.
O people of the world:
This is the terrorist, aggressive, and racist reality of the Zionist enemy. It bombs, assaults, and destroys everyone who stands in the way of its expansionist and aggressive plans, with the support of the American administration and in front of the eyes of the international community.
At the same time, it claims to support freedom, democracy, and human rights, and does the opposite, as it carried out a terrorist missile attack on the safe neighborhoods of the city Damascus, targeting civilians and destroying their homes and properties, while grieving Syria is busy removing the effects of the devastating earthquake that hit it on 6/2/2023.
O people of the world:
Syria is a besieged country that suffers from war and terrorism, and strives to overcome the ordeal of the devastating earthquake with the help and support of its brothers and friends, and at the same time the usurping and occupying Zionist entity bombards Syria with missiles.
The General Secretariat of the Global Gathering in Support of the choice of Resistance condemns this treacherous terrorist and criminal act of the Israeli entity on populated civilian neighborhoods, and demands the axis of resistance to respond decisively and painfully to the arrogance of this cowardly enemy, because it only understands the language of force.
The United Nations is responsible for what is happening in Syria, the repeated Israeli attacks, and the criminality of terrorist groups such as ISIS and others, and the responsibility of the deadly and destructive siege for 12 years on Syria and its people, which caused destruction and calamities to all the foundations of life in Syria.
Rhe General Secretariat of the Global Gathering in Support of the Choice of Resistance calls on the international community to assume its responsibilities towards Syria and its people, and to work on:
– Stopping the arrogance of the Israeli-Zionist entity, and holding it accountable for its criminal and terrorist acts against the people of Syria.
– An immediate end to the unjust and murderous siege and unjust sanctions against Syria and its people.
– Calling for an emergency session of the UN Security Council regarding the tragic situation in Syria, and providing all forms of support and aid to it.
