Dr. Muhammad Madi, a member of the follow-up committee of the “Palestinian Popular Congress 14 Million” coming from Gaza to represent the conference in Beirut, visited the Secretary-General of the Global Gathering in Support of the Choice of Resistance, Dr. Yahya Ghaddar, and Brother Ihsan Ataya, the General Coordinator for Palestine in the Gathering.

The meeting began by welcoming the delegation of the Popular Congress that attended From the West Bank, Gaza, Jordan and Lebanon.

During the meeting, the general situation in which Palestine is going through and the challenges facing the Palestinian people were reviewed, and it was emphasized that the only option for resistance is the solution to get out of the impasse, face the challenges and liberate Palestine.

In turn, Dr. Madi thanked Dr. Ghaddar for the warm reception and meeting, and he presented the idea of ​​the “Palestinian People’s Congress 14 million”, which is represented in the unity of the Palestinian people and adherence to the organization and the need to rebuild the Palestine Liberation Organization as the sole and legitimate representative of the Palestinian people and the inclusive moral home for all Palestinians, through holding elections for the Palestinian National Council in which all the Palestinian people participate and in its capacity as the highest authority in the organization, and that by forming a balanced popular bloc to put pressure on those who kidnapped the organization and drag it to obey the popular will by selecting a new leadership for the organization capable of facing challenges and getting out of the state of the Palestinian impasse, which constitutes an incubator for the resistance in all its forms.

For his part, Dr. Yahya Ghaddar affirmed that the Gathering supports the idea of ​​the conference and stressed their full readiness for joint action and cooperation that is keen to transcend geography and ideology with regard to the unity of the people and the land, and that this blessed effort provides support for the escalating resistance option in the occupied Palestinian territories, and that only popular pressure is capable of Committing the authority to see the Palestinian national consensus, and affirming that they are ready to cooperate and rally around the principles and foundations of the Palestinian People’s Congress.

At the end of the meeting, it was agreed to activate the role of the global gathering in support of the choice of resistance in Palestine, especially the Gaza Strip, as a bearer of the Palestinian national concern and supportive of the option of resistance against the Zionist occupation, which is the only option through which Palestine will liberate all of Palestine from the river to the sea.
