Within the framework of activating the mechanisms of action to combat normalization with the Israeli enemy, Dr. Yahya Ghaddar, Secretary General of the Global Gathering in Support of the Choice of Resistance, met with the General Coordinator of the Gathering in Morocco, Dr. Idris Hani, at the Gathering’s headquarters in Beirut, where the meeting took place in the context of regional and international developments, in which they discussed the situation in the region and the challenges and prospects of the region, especially the outcome of the Iranian-Saudi dialogue course, which resulted in the press meeting between the representatives of the two countries under Chinese auspices, stressing the importance of this transformative event, and the geo-strategic guarantee that Chinese mediation represents for the success of the outcomes of the meeting.

They also touched on the strategic effects of this agreement in containing the crises plaguing the region.

They also saw in this agreement an indication of the emergence of a new regional order that would commemorate the new Middle East project.

They also dealt with the central issue of the Arab and Islamic nation, emphasizing the basic constants and principles of the Palestinian right to resistance in all its forms and their absolute support for the uprising of the Palestinian people until the liberation of all Palestinian soil from the sea to the river.

They alerted to the dangers of normalization in the region and attempts to liquidate the Palestinian cause, and they also discussed ways to develop the work of the gathering in the region and work to oppose all forms of sweeping normalization of the historical rights of the Palestinian people.

On the other hand, they dealt with developments in the political, security and humanitarian situation in Syria, stressing the position of the Gathering in support of the Syrian leadership, army and people since the first day of the aggression against Syria in March 2011, considering that Syria, which faced all these challenges, was, is and will remain the main axis in the future of the region, expressing permanent solidarity with Syria, a position that was included in all statements and decisions of the assembly, since the establishment of the Arab and Islamic Gathering in Support of the Choice of Resistance in July 2011 in Cairo, and before its expansion and restructuring to become a global gathering.

In the same context, the two parties appreciated the performance of the global gathering in support of the choice of resistance, and they discussed ways to develop the performance of the branches and solidarity with just causes in the world.
