Dr. Yahya Ghaddar, Secretary-General of the Global Gathering in Support of the Choice of Resistance, held a lengthy meeting with the General Coordinator of the Gathering in France, Mr. Alan Corvez, at the Gathering’s main headquarters in Beirut.

The meeting reviewed current developments and events, the indicators they carry, and the consequences they will have on the overall situation, especially on the Arab arena.

The beginning of the discussion was the qualitative developments taking place in occupied Palestine in terms of the escalation of resistance activities and their qualitative development, which heralds the possibility of their escalation in the wake of the crisis of the Zionist entity and the aggravation of conflicts within the entity’s government, the army, and its political and social formations.

The current situation in the Ain al-Hilweh Palestinian camp in Lebanon was also reviewed, which constitutes an attack on the Palestinian cause and represents an attempt to distract public opinion and the media from the attacks and shameful practices committed by the Zionists against the Palestinian people, including the violation of the sanctity of women, and the attacks carried out by herds of settlers on Al-Aqsa Mosque on the occasion of the Jewish religions.

The qualitative transformations taking place in Africa were discussed and reviewed, as indicated by the current events and developments, most of which represent a national and social liberation movement to liquidate colonialism and stop the plunder of the wealth of the peoples of the African continent, which constitute the world’s food reservoir and precious resources of minerals, oil and gas.

They also discussed the crises that Europe and especially France is suffering from and the responsibility of the US elites who have taken control of the administrations of European governments and peoples and who play a role in subjecting Europe, its peoples and its market to wars, crises and impoverishment in the service of aggressive USA projects and to fuel the wars that the United States runs from behind the scenes and afflicts nations and peoples with them.

They also discussed the affairs of the gathering, the French coordination, and the European coordinations were also discussed, and the development of mechanisms and formulas to revitalize the work of the coordinations, increase their level of influence on public opinion and on policy makers, and develop their relationship with European forces, parties, and actors that reject hegemony and aggression, strive for the rights of peoples and nations, and support the axis of resistance and stands in solidarity with the Palestinian people and their just and fair cause.
