A consultative meeting with the group’s coordinators in Australia, Latin America, the United States, Canada, Europe and South Africa, in solidarity with Gaza.

At the invitation of Dr. Yahya Ghaddar, Secretary-General of the Global Gathering in Support of the Choice of Resistance, an interactive and consultative meeting was held yesterday afternoon, Friday 10/23/20, with the Gathering’s coordinators present in Australia, Latin America, the United States, Canada, Europe, and South Africa, via Zoom, in solidarity with Gaza, and to discuss how to support it and defend the rights of its people.

The gathering’s coordinators in Cairo, Iran, Palestine, Tunisia, Algeria, Mauritania, Comoros, and Kenya also participated in the meeting.

Then the participants listened to the statements presented by the coordinators, in which they presented an assessment and evaluation of the conditions in their countries in terms of solidarity movements with Gaza and its steadfast people and the impact of the barbaric and inhumane Israeli attacks that targeted children, families, hospitals and the health sector. The speakers presented the reality of the media bias practiced by the official media in their countries and funded by the lobbies, in favor of Zionist barbarism.

The meeting concluded with the following recommendations:

– Emphasizing the importance and necessity of continuing the peaceful movement in various Arab and Western countries in support of the Palestinian people and in their legitimate right to resist and liberate their land from the river to the sea.

– Participate in and support all peaceful demonstrations and gatherings that are held in front of Israeli embassies or the embassies of countries participating in the war against the Palestinian people and demand their closure and thus sever all diplomatic and security relations with the Zionist enemy.

– Condemning the stances of the Western countries participating in the aggression or accepting it, especially after Israel committed war crimes and genocidal massacres against the Palestinian people and the intentional targeting of civilians, children and women, and the massacre of Baptist Hospital and the entire medical and hospital sector.

-The necessity of activating the role of the media in all societies and countries for its important role in revealing the nature of the conflict with Israel and conveying the true and undistorted picture that reaches Western countries. These countries have excelled in the media field despite Israel committing the most heinous crimes and massacres, such as destroying a hospital and killing more than 500 people, then accusing the victim (the Palestinians) and this is being supported by America. The image of the Palestinian resistance was distorted after it was falsely accused of slaughtering children and women in order to compare it with ISIS, especially since the Zionist entity is the godfather of lies, deception and immorality and uses every media tool to market its policies and evade punishment.

– At a time when our diaspora communities are unable to defend our rights without prosecution, and at a time when English media is prohibited from broadcasting in Western countries; We believe in the gathering that the truth must emerge. Therefore, we decided to launch the live broadcast project so that we can all participate in conveying the truth and the honest image, and we ask everyone to participate as much as possible in this pioneering project. The project will include broadcasting from a studio in Beirut, with guests and callers from all over the world, and live mobile units on the borders and inside Palestine.
