In light of the crimes and blatant violations of international law and human rights committed by the Israeli enemy in occupied Palestine, particularly Gaza.
And in light of the legal developments issued by the International Court of Justice, which demand the Israeli enemy to stop committing atrocities and crimes against civilians, and which constitute a serious and gross violation of all humanitarian and legal standards and amount to the crime of genocide.
And to mobilize efforts, the Secretary-General of the Global Gathering in Support of the Choice of Resistance (GGSCR), Dr. Yahya Ghaddar, met at the main center of the GGSCR, Dr. Jan Fermon, Secretary-General of the International Association of Democratic Lawyers.
Dr. Hassan Jouni, Head of the International Law Commission at the GGSCR and member of the International Association of Democratic Lawyers, participated in the meeting as well.
Those gathered discussed the latest developments regarding the humanitarian situation in Palestine, Israeli violations of human rights, international humanitarian law, and international refugee law, in addition to the international inability to defend human values.
The mechanism for implementing international laws that deter and stop the Israeli enemy from continuing its barbaric and brutal aggression against Gaza was also discussed.
It was agreed to cooperate in establishing a legal mechanism to prosecute the Israeli enemy and its officials and hold those responsible before international and local courts. Moreover, put all joint legal efforts and capabilities to defend the Palestinian people and confront the Western-Atlantic imperialist aggression in the region.
