Speech by the Secretary-General of the Gathering, Dr. Yahya Ghaddar

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Your Excellencies, esteemed Lebanese and Palestinian resistance leaders, dear brothers and sisters,

Quds Day is a day we remind the great powers that Islam will no longer fall under your control through your deceitful agents. Quds Day is the day of Islam’s vitality, a day Muslims must awaken and feel their material and spiritual strength.
— Imam Ruhollah Khomeini (may his soul be sanctified)

We commemorate International Quds Day as Palestine fights a battle for its existence, steadfastness, and liberation from river to sea. The terrorist Netanyahu, along with his senile master Biden and the reckless Trump, has declared a war of extermination in Gaza and the West Bank, and the displacement of 1948 Palestinians to establish their greater Talmudic Israel and their submissive “Greater Middle East.”

On this Quds Day, initiated by the great leader Ayatollah Imam Khomeini (may his soul be sanctified), embraced by revolutionary Iran under the leadership of Imam Khamenei—who has sacrificed dearly, faced wars and blockades, and today stands against threats and intimidation—this day has become a global occasion and a symbol of solidarity of nations with Palestine. It is a symbol of their uprising against genocidal wars, destruction of nations, and plundering of their resources.

Speech by Iranian Deputy Ambassador Mr. Tawfiq Samadi

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds,
Peace and blessings be upon the most honorable of prophets and messengers, our Prophet Muhammad, and his pure family and chosen companions.

I extend sincere greetings to the spirit of the Master of the Martyrs of Resistance, the beauty of the soul and perfection of love, and to all his companions.

God Almighty said in His eternal covenant and everlasting promise:
“Alif-Lam-Mim. The Romans have been defeated. In the nearest land. But after their defeat, they will be victorious. In a few years. The decision of the matter, before and after, is with God. And on that day, the believers will rejoice with the victory of God. He helps whom He wills, and He is the Mighty, the Merciful.”

After my sincere greetings, thanks, and best wishes for your fasting and devotion to be accepted by God, I proudly and joyfully reaffirm my intention and love for this noble gathering. I thought briefly about what would be useful to mention in a few minutes and found it necessary to recall the sayings of the Leader of the Revolution: “Being with God, and God being with us.”
As the Qur’an says: “Indeed, my Lord is with me; He will guide me.”

This divine companionship is a well-established attribute of God Almighty. Scholars agree on its affirmation—it suits His Majesty. God’s companionship does not contradict His transcendence. He knows His servants, sees their deeds, and is aware of their future, even as He is exalted above them, seated upon His Throne.

What matters, especially on this occasion, is a deep Qur’anic lesson recalled by the Leader when he said:
“Do not ask: what is the outcome of our steadfastness?”
He added: We lost great and valuable Iranian and Lebanese personalities—of course, referring to His Eminence the Leader and Haj Abbas Neel Foroushan and their comrades—and this was a severe loss for us. Just as happened to Prophet Moses (peace be upon him), who did not live a peaceful life in Egypt, but he and the Israelites lived a life of hardship and resistance…

Statement by His Excellency Minister Adnan Mansour:

Al-Quds Day is the call launched by the initiator of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Imam Ruhollah Al-Mousavi Al-Khomeini. Al-Quds Day was a call directed to the Arab and Islamic nations and all the free people of the world, affirming that there is an ongoing aggression on an Arab-Islamic land that contains holy sites, due to a usurping enemy occupying Palestine since 1948 to this day.
This call by Imam Khomeini stated that the path is clear, and it is resistance—there is no way to confront the enemy except through struggle and resistance.

Statement by the Representative of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Lebanon, Ihsan Ataya:

To the soul of the initiator of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini, who early on realized that the unity of the nation lies in directing its focus toward Jerusalem, toward Palestine. That is the symbol of victory over the enemies of the nation, over global arrogance and Western colonialism, which has looted this nation’s resources and wealth.
Brothers, attendees, all enemies have failed to break the resistance in our region. They have failed to achieve their goals despite the continued barbaric, savage military aggression and the brutal war on Palestinians in Gaza, on Lebanon, and now on Yemen, which is being bombed by American planes to try to break the axis and alliance of resistance.

Statement by Deputy Chairman of the Palestinian National Council and Political Bureau Member of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, Ali Faisal:

Al-Quds Day is a day with a historical legacy that stretches across our region and lies at the heart of our homeland, Palestine. In this legacy of resistance, we salute the martyrs of Palestine, as well as the martyrs of the resistance fronts and support fronts, foremost among them the one of the true promise, the great martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, who fulfilled his promise when he said, “A martyr on the road to Jerusalem,” alongside his brothers, and also General Qassem Soleimani, commander of the Quds Force.
Within this legacy of resistance, the war continues, and the battle rages on against the Zionist-American campaign—a campaign of genocide and eradication targeting the Palestinian people and the ideology of resistance. It is an existential war over geography and demography.

Statement by Head of Palestinian Relations in Hezbollah, Hassan Hoballah:

The confrontation is resistance. Resistance has taken various measures and undergone transformations to reach the level of elevated morale it has today. It is now viewed by the West as a threat to their hegemonic interests in the region.
Today is a day of confrontation—a practical confrontation. As Imam Ali (peace be upon him) said: “We fight the enemies shoulder to shoulder, nose to nose—some days for us and some against us.”
In this battle, we need truth, moral values, the freedom of our peoples, and their awareness and enlightenment. The enemy practices deception.

Statement by Ramzi Dsoum, Head of Relations with National Parties in the Free Patriotic Movement:

Is there anything more precious or important than the Palestinian cause for us to express solidarity with ourselves by standing with it—humanely, religiously, emotionally, and in terms of rights?
Forty-six years after the declaration by the initiator of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Imam Khomeini, of the last Friday of Ramadan as International Quds Day, it is commemorated by free people across the world.
For the second consecutive year, this anniversary passes while the Palestinian people are facing a genocide amid international and global silence that borders on complicity.

Statement by the Head of the “General Command” in Lebanon, Ghazi Dabbour “Abu Kifah”:

Our struggle is one of existence, not of borders. There is no concession on this principled stance. There are two paths in the international arena: the first is the American-Zionist-regressive path, chasing normalization, and the second is the resistance path that stands against the American-Zionist-imperialist project.
The Islamic Republic in Iran, whose revolution was declared by Imam Khomeini, announced International Quds Day as a consecration of the Palestinian cause in the consciousness of the Islamic and Arab nations so that Palestine remains the core of the struggle with the Zionist enemy. Palestine is what defines the features of the confrontation and the belonging to the causes of the nation.

Full Speech by the Secretary-General, Dr. Yahya Ghaddar

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Your Excellencies, esteemed Lebanese and Palestinian resistance political leaders, dear brothers and sisters:

Quds Day is the day we warn the great powers that Islam will no longer be under their control through their treacherous agents. Quds Day is the day of the life of Islam, a day when Muslims must awaken and become aware of their power—both material and spiritual.
—Imam Sayyid Ruhollah Al-Musawi Al-Khomeini (may his pure soul be sanctified)

We commemorate International Quds Day while Palestine is engaged in a war for its existence, its steadfastness, and even its liberation from the sea to the river. The terrorist Netanyahu and his masters—the senile Biden and the reckless, impulsive Trump—have declared a war of extermination against Gaza and the West Bank. They also seek to displace the Palestinians of 1948 in order to establish their Talmudic Greater Israel and a submissive Middle East.

On this Quds Day, declared by the great leader Imam Khomeini (may he rest in peace) and embraced by the Iranian Revolution under the leadership of Imam Khamenei, Iran has given everything precious, endured wars, blockades, and threats. Through its sacrifices—and those of the Axis of Resistance, its factions, and its peoples—this day has become a global occasion, a symbol of solidarity among peoples and nations with Palestine and its cause, and an expression of their revival in the face of wars of annihilation, destruction, and looting.

For Al-Quds and on its path, our nation and our resistances have offered their most precious assets and noblest men. They have spared nothing, and will not, until God’s promise—expressed through their voices—is fulfilled: liberation and prayer in Al-Aqsa soon, God willing.

For Al-Aqsa and Al-Quds, and to prevent the extermination of the Palestinian people and the liquidation of their cause, many great leaders have been martyred, in a long procession of heroes and legendary fighters. This path was initiated and paved by the great commander, General Qassem Soleimani, the knight and martyr of Al-Quds, alongside Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, the brilliant commander. Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the master of the martyrs of resistance; the Hashemite Sayyed Hashem Safi Al-Din; the exceptional leader Yahya Sinwar; Sheikh Ismail Haniyeh; and the courageous commanders of Islamic Jihad, Hamas, Palestinian factions, Yemen, the Revolutionary Guard, and the Quds Force. The march and the procession continue along their path toward Al-Quds, as the peoples and factions of the Axis offer their most precious assets and fight with unmatched valor in Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon, and proud Yemen—the jewel of the Resistance Axis and its iron fist that neither breaks nor yields.

This year, International Quds Day carries a special flavor, scented with the blood and spirits of martyrs, and the vow and promise are renewed: O Al-Quds, we are coming! The time of liberation has come. This is the promise of the martyrs, our covenant, and we shall continue along their path until God’s promise is fulfilled. We recite Al-Fatiha for their souls in blessed Al-Aqsa.

Mercy and paradise to the martyrs, a speedy recovery to the wounded, and steadfastness and victory to the Axis, led by the Islamic Republic of Iran under the leadership of the Imam, the Commander, Ayatollah Khamenei.

Speech by the Minister Counselor of the Iranian Embassy, Mr. Tawfiq Samadi

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to God, Lord of the worlds. Peace and blessings be upon the noblest of prophets and messengers, our Prophet Muhammad, upon his purified family, and his chosen companions.

I offer heartfelt greetings to the soul of the master of the martyrs of resistance, the beauty of the spirit, and the perfection of love, and to all his companions.

God Almighty said in His eternal covenant and everlasting promise:
“Alif, Lam, Meem. The Romans have been defeated. In the nearest land. But they, after their defeat, will overcome. Within a few years. To Allah belongs the command before and after. And that day the believers will rejoice in the victory of Allah. He gives victory to whom He wills, and He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful.”

After my warm greetings, I thank you and pray that God accepts your fasting and prayers… I have decided, with all pride and joy, to express and renew my intention and love for this noble attendance. I briefly reflected on what is appropriate to share in these moments and found that our duty, inspired by the words of the Imam Leader, is: “to be in the company of God and for God” — Glorified and Exalted be He: “Indeed, my Lord is with me; He will guide me.”

Companionship is one of God’s firm attributes, and all the scholars agree on affirming it. It is companionship befitting His majesty, which does not contradict His exaltation. He knows His servants, sees their deeds, is wise about their future, even while being above them and established upon His throne…

What matters, on this occasion, is the authentic Qur’anic lesson in a deep statement by the Imam (may God protect him), when he said: “Do not ask: what fruit is there in our steadfastness and resistance?”

His Eminence added: We have lost great and precious Iranian and Lebanese figures—clearly referring to the Imam, Mr. Abbas Nilforoushan and his companions—and it was a great loss for us. Just as Prophet Moses (peace be upon him) lived in Egypt without a peaceful life, he and the Children of Israel suffered severe hardships. They told him, as narrated in the Holy Book:
“We were harmed before you came to us and after you came to us.” He replied: “Perhaps your Lord will destroy your enemy and make you successors in the land so that He may see how you act.”
And in another verse: “Moses said to his people: Seek help from Allah and be patient. Indeed, the earth belongs to Allah. He gives it to whom He wills of His servants. And the (best) outcome is for the righteous.”

Our insightful Imam said: Those who complained about the torment witnessed with their own eyes how Pharaoh and his army were drowned in the water in utter humiliation and disgrace: {We parted the sea for you, saved you, and drowned Pharaoh’s people while you were watching}.
And: {We seized Pharaoh and his hosts and cast them into the sea…}

The Imam—may God protect him—urges us: With this perspective, view the events, hardships, and suffering you are facing… and do not doubt that the result of this steadfastness and resistance is the defeat of the enemies and the fall of the vile, corrupt, and immoral Zionist entity.

Therefore, we believe in the divine revelation and say: “Indeed, my Lord is with me; He will guide me.”

Finally, we must not forget supplication and the truth that blood triumphs over the sword, as His Eminence pointed out. God’s prophets (peace be upon them) always turned to prayer during their greatest trials. The Qur’an transmits the supplication of Prophet Moses in the midst of his struggle against Pharaoh:
“Our Lord! You have indeed bestowed upon Pharaoh and his chiefs splendor and wealth in the life of this world, our Lord, that they may lead others astray from Your path. Our Lord! Destroy their wealth and harden their hearts, so that they will not believe until they see the painful punishment.”
And God responded: “Your supplication has been accepted. So remain steadfast, and do not follow the path of those who do not know.”
