The Global Gathering in support of the choice of resistance condemns the aggressive and unjustified decision taken by the Australian government to designate Hezbollah – the Party of Resistance, Liberation and Victory as a terrorist organization.

The Global Gathering in Support of the Option of Resistance considers the Australian decision as a blatant aggression that lacks credibility and for any pretext or reason other than its submissive response to the orders of the leadership of the Zionist entity and for its benefit.

Australia’s decision to classify Hezbollah as a terrorist organization puts Australia in a position of hostility to Lebanon and its people, and infringes upon its sovereignty, choices and legitimate rights in the resistance to liberate the country and expel the occupier, to confront the forces of savage terrorism, and to prevent the Zionist entity from stealing its wealth and assaulting its sovereignty.

Hezbollah and its resistance played a pivotal role in securing Lebanon, achieving its sovereignty, liberating its lands from the Israeli occupier, and protecting the people from Takfiri terrorist brutality.

The Global Gathering in support of the choice of Resistance considers the Australian decision to lack credibility, logic, and motives, and it is against the common interests of the Lebanese and Australian peoples, which will reflect negatively on the interests of Australia itself, while its aggressive decision to target the resistance and the Lebanese people will not have any effect and is not worth the ink with which it was written.

The resistance and the Lebanese people have persevered and adapted They face huge colonial and aggressive schemes and inflict defeats on them.

The Australian government’s decision will only increase the resistance, the determination to extract victories and accumulate them, strengthening national cohesion and meeting the needs of the Lebanese people away from the dictates and decisions of hostile governments.
