Statement of the Global Gathering in Support of the Choice of Resistance

Condemning the practices of repression and arbitrariness of the Lebanese government against the Bahraini guests and the Lebanese elites.

The Global Gathering in Support of the Choice of Resistance sees the repressive and arbitrary measures that the Lebanese Prime Minister requested from the Minister of Interior and Justice and the authorities and the judiciary to take to prosecute the organizers and speakers at the regular annual meeting held for dialogue regarding the violations and abuses carried out by the Bahraini regime against the opposition and the Bahraini people, which infringe on the most basic human rights of the people, their freedom and it bypasses international laws, contracts, resolutions, and the Bill of Human Rights.

The Gathering stresses that these measures are unacceptable and are even humiliating measures against Lebanon, its sovereignty and dignity, and challenge its values ​​and characteristics that distinguished it and made it a beacon of the East, its writers, its newspapers, its hospitals, and its universities.

The obstructed government is aligning its pillars with the orders of the US ambassador, Dorothey Shea, who imposes a judge for the judicial investigation, interferes in the details of the investigations, directs them politically and discretionally, and conspires against the right-holders and those who have been harmed, seeking to find out the truth, and those who stood behind the ship of nitrates that brought death to oir capital, and those who entered it, unloaded its cargo, and prepared it as a nuclear bomb, with the letter of the investigations and its politicization, the same government that has exacerbated the Lebanese people’s poverty and need, and led the Lebanese families to starvation by conspiring with the monopoly and corruption lobbies and protecting them, and playing with dollar prices and with food and medicine needed by the poor.

In its oppressive and repressive measures, it reached the climax of neglecting dignity and rights and the simplest rules of independence and national sovereignty, and it became mere clowns, responding to any Gulf pressure and scrambling to attack the rights, dignity and nature of the Lebanese and what they were accustomed to in terms of democracy and freedoms guaranteed to them by the constitution and laws, while not moving a finger in the face of media mercenaries and politicians normalizing with the Zionist enemy. They enlisted in Israel’s service wirh their unjust attack on Syria, Iran, the resistance and any of the forces and elements of good in the Arab world and the region.

The measures requested by the non-sovereign Prime Minister, which lack values ​​and national dignity, disregard the most basic rights of the Lebanese and their guests, and place themselves at the service of the Gulf regimes and families that betray their people and the nation, ally with the Zionist enemy, commit the most heinous massacres against the Yemeni and Bahraini people, conspire against their people, squander their wealth and the lives of their youth in aggressive, unjust and absurd wars.

The global gathering in support of the choice of resistance condemns the government and its practices and is in solidarity with Bahrain and its proud people and with its fighters. It also stands in solidarity with the Lebanese and Arab journalists, lawyers and activists who participated in the meeting. The gathering calls on all people of will, sovereigns and free people to stand united in the battle to restore sovereignty, dignity and independence and to protect Lebanon, its dignity, values ​​and customs from violence. The rulers who stole and bankrupted the country and practice thievery on a daily basis have reached the point of neglecting the simplest rules and human rights and assaulting public dignity and freedoms.

The Gathering affirms that the adulation, the complacency and the submission of the Gulf families will only increase the government, the system, the class and its leaders by revealing its true nature as a small follower of forces that have gone bankrupt and live in a state of crisis and collapse and are defeated in all battles.
