Brothers leaders, members and friends of The global gathering in support of the choice of resistance
The Global Gathering in Support of the Choice of Resistance is a global organization that brings together personalities, bodies, forces and activities that believe in and support the choice of resistance, and that oppose American hegemony, Zionism and global imperialism and their tools in the world.
The gathering constitutes a global space for dialogue and resistance thought that supports just causes in the world, foremost of which is the Palestinian cause, the central cause of the Arabs, free and honorable people of the world, and the political and ideological diversity in the assembly constitutes an added value to the strength and credibility of the assembly and a true tributary of support for peoples and just causes in the world.
In recent days, there have been many attempts by some to undermine the reputation and positions of the global assembly to support the option of resistance, and for the person of its Secretary-General, on the pretext that he adopted a paper entitled: A cry and a plea from the depths.
For the truth and history, the Global Gathering in Support of the Choice of Resistance and in its conference held in Damascus in 2016, did not present this paper in the official papers and documents of the conference, based on the decision of the Executive Committee of the gathering that was taken unanimously through the meetings of the organizing committees of the conference, because the leadership of the gathering did not see the content This paper is before the conference, and since the paper is concerned with the Palestinian issue and in the interest of the leadership of the assembly to invest in the presence of the brothers in the Palestinian factions in the conference and to listen to their views, they were asked to review the content of this paper and express their opinion on it, and their response after reviewing it was not to agree on its content and not to present it At the conference, and indeed that was, and the paper was not presented at the conference.
We in the gatherin’s general secretariat, after the conference, reviewed the content of the paper, made our observations about it, and affirmed that the content of this paper is not commensurate with the decisions, principles and objectives of the assembly. We informed the paper’s sponsors of this, and despite their taking our opinion and observations, we assured them that we would not adopt this document or any other document other than those official documents of the gathering.
We would also like to point out an important point, which is that many papers, documents and proposals are submitted to the gathering for study and opinion. These documents are referred to the competent scientific, cultural and media committees of the assembly for study and opinion. To bring others closer to the gathering and its goals, and this does not mean at all that the gathering adopted or approved this or that document. Which confirms that we are not responsible for a paper (a cry and a call from the depths), and we have crossed and clarified this more than once.
Our affirmation today, for the thousandth time, that the global gathering in support of the choice of resistance will not adopt this document or any other document is nothing but an affirmation of our support only for the official documents on the gathering’s official website, and an affirmation of our commitment to the principles and objectives of the gathering, represented in supporting the resistance, which is the only option to liberate all Palestinian territory. From the sea to the river, establishing an independent Palestinian state with AlQuds as its capital, adhering to the right of return and releasing all prisoners and detainees, confronting normalization and working to cancel all humiliating agreements with the Zionist enemy, and rejecting the principle of settlements based on concessions and compromising the principles and the policy of abandoning land, rights, people and sacred things.

The global gathering kn support of the choicr of resistance is continuing its course, based on its principles and to achieve the goals for which we have gathered, hoping that those who are trying to undermine the status and reputation of the gathering and its leaders will stop that, and invest time to work and provide everything that is good and in the interest of our Arab nation and all the just and just causes in the world.
We are full of hope and confidence from all members of the gathering in support of the choice of resistance in all arenas, whom we have entrusted with militant, scientific and academic statures to continue their giving, struggle, activities, activities and programs, because we are confident that with work, cooperation and love we build our homelands and our future.
