In Support and solidarity with the Palestinian people

The Global Gathering in Support of the Choice of Resistance hosted the leader of the Islamic Jihad movement, Mujahid Ahmad Al Mudallal, father of the martyr Ziyad Al Mudallal, who rose to prominence in the battle of “unity of the battlfields”.

That took place on Tuesday 25/10/2022 at 6:00 pm at the Gathering’s headquarters, in the presence and participation of representatives of the Lebanese and Palestinian forces, parties and factions, and a number of participants.

After reciting Al-Fatihah in respect to the souls of the martyrs of Palestine, the nation, and the axis of resistance, and reciting the Lebanese and Palestinian national anthem and the Gtahering’s anthem, the Gathering’s Secretary-General, Dr. Yahya Ghaddar, welcomed the dear guest from Gaza, the legend of resistance and steadfastness, a fighter and leader of the resistance, and God Almighty honored him as one of the martyrs’ families.

The Secretary-General enumerated the guest’s qualities and the role of the Islamic Jihad, the vanguard movement in the resistance, and its choice and its steady and rising approach in strength and presence.

Dr. Yehya pointed out that the whole of Palestine today, from the immigrant to Gaza, to the West Bank and the 48th Palestine, is in an armed uprising and revolution that innovates in fighting the brutal enemy, and is doing a good job, and shows the capabilities of its sons, their toughness, their awareness and their rush to sacrifice and take the initiative to target settlers and soldiers of the Zionist enemy.

Dr. Ghaddar stressed that there is no way or horizon for restoring rights except through resistance and the generalization of its choice.

The Secretary-General also welcomed the participating brothers and sisters, thanking them for accepting the invitation and participating in the attendance. He also welcomed and thanked the participating brothers from the Arab world and from across the world via Zoom platform, and invited the guest to give his speech.

Mujahid leader Ahmed Mudallal presented the reality of Gaza, and praised the solidity of its people and their support for the choice of resistance, the sustainable clash with the Zionist enemy, and the legendary steadfastness in the face of the harshest siege and starvation the world has ever seen.  He also stressed that the resistance factions have the heart of one man, their determination is unrelenting, and their decision is irreversible to support the West Bank and the 48 Palestinians in their resistance uprising.  He pointed out that the decision of the “Islamic Jihad”, Gaza and the resistance factions is to continue the resistance in all its forms, and to build the elements of strength to support the West Bank, its resistance and our people in the 48 lands.  He stressed the need to achieve Palestinian national unity behind the option of resistance and intifada, and praised the sacrifices of the Palestinian people, and the youth who rebelled and took up arms and decided that there is no alternative to the choice of struggle and resistance to wrest rights and liberate all of Palestine.  He also emphasized the downfall of the options for peace, negotiation and normalization with the enemy, and the bets on American and international guarantees, and that this criminal enemy only understands the language of force and confrontation with weapons.  This is proven by the experience of the Palestinian people, and what the “Oslo” agreement reached, which the Palestinian people reject as a whole, and rejects its destructive results, and illusions and bets on negotiations and understandings that have only offered the Palestinian people more settlement and aggression, theft of land and rights, aggravating the lives of Palestinians, and attempts to Judaize AlQuds and the West Bank.

Then Hajj Hassan Hoballah, the official in charge of Palestinian relations in Hezbollah, gave a few words.

He stressed that what is happening in the 48th West Bank and Palestine heralds that the choice of resistance has become the dominant one, and it is the only bet to restore rights and liberate the land and the will, and that the experience of Arabs and Muslims, and the strength and role of the resistance axis, and the victories it achieved in various wars, enhance the choice of resistance in Palestine, which rises up and takes up arms, protects the resistance and solidarity with them, and rises up in the face of aggression and occupation and its tools and normalizers.

Then the gathering’s Secretary-General concluded the meeting, emphasizing the words of the late President Gamal Abdel Nasser, “that the resistance is here to stay, and it will remain until the liberation of the entire Palestinian territory, and that what was taken by force can only be recovered with force, and that it is time for every Arab to bear responsibility.

Dr. Ghaddar also urged members and friends of the Gathering to support the intifada by all possible moral and material means, and to mobilize efforts to spread the world’s support for Palestine and its uprising.  He also thanked the participants and speakers and stressed that the promise of Allah sw and the leaders of the resistance will be fulfilled, and we will pray at Al-Aqsa and the Church of the Resurrection soon, God willing.
