Statement of Dr. Yahya Ghaddar, Secretary General of the Global Gathering in Support of the Choice of Resistance, which he delivered on 11/29/2023, on the occasion of the International Solidarity Day with the Palestinian People. The Gathering held an open dialogue with academic researcher Dr. Tim Anderson, General Coordinator of the Gathering in Australia and Oceanian Region regarding Palestine and the region after the Al-Aqsa Flood.
Then, Dr. Tim’s latest publication, entitled: “West Asia after Washington, Dismantling the Colonized Middle East,” was dedicated and signed at the main center of the gathering, Beirut.

Welcome to our Event,
The Al-Aqsa Flood operation is miraculous, and what it has achieved is a great historical victory. Especially the widespread and comprehensive war that followed, extending on five fronts. Where Palestinian, Arab, and Islamic fronts were united, from Naqoura to Bab al-Mandab and the Arabian Sea, reaching the Iranian plateau. Not to mention, more than 200 million people from the countries of the Axis of Resistance, all this taking place on an area of more than 2 million square kilometers.

On the occasion of International Solidarity Day with the Palestinian People, we stress that we don’t rely on the governments anymore, as we congratulate the free people of the Arab and Islamic nations, and all free people in the world. Those had real effectiveness and pressure on countries supporting the aggression. We stress the importance of continuing their movements and demonstrations in support of the Palestinian people and their legitimate rights.

The Al-Aqsa Flood operation, the Gaza war, and the ongoing war in the region are the war of the divine promise, and a war for the rights of the people and nations in the face of injustice, tyranny, and genocide. Thus, Gaza with the steadfastness and the struggle of its people, and the heroes of the resistance axis on all fronts, are defending the right of human beings to live with dignity, freedom, sovereignty, and equality on this planet. Away from the oppression of the unjust and arrogant world order led by the United States, and as an alternative to the aggressive and destructive Anglo-Saxon world towards nations and people.

Today’s war in Gaza is the war of the divine promise in the face of demonic injustice. Therefore, it will change what was and open the world to new rules and laws regulating human life for the benefit of peoples and nations…

Brother Dr. Tim Anderson is an international activist who spared no opportunity, effort, or skill but sought and worked to support Gaza and the Palestinian cause. He shows solidarity, not only with the Palestinian people, but with all those oppressed in the world, and with everyone who confronts American imperialism and global Zionism.

Today he is among us as he has always been, telling us about his vision of the ongoing war and its repercussions on the decline of colonial powers and the fall of their projects in Arab and Muslim countries and in West Asia. This will lead colonial powers to a resounding global defeat through which humanity will be liberated from the sins of an aggressive, colonial world system whose states were established on stealing the wealth of nations and people at the expense of humans on this planet.

Then, the general coordinator of the Gathering in Italy, Ms. Roberta Rivolta, praised the important meeting and the interesting topics that were raised. Also, she confirmed that world’s public opinion has begun to see the reality of the Zionist entity, especially in Western countries, after the fall of the entity’s mask through the massacres and genocide that the Palestinian people suffered form for 80 years. Mrs. Revolta concluded by emphasizing the continuity and effectiveness of the peaceful demonstrations that are still taking place in large numbers, not to mention the economic boycott.
For his turn, the general coordinator of the gathering in Johannesburg,

Sheikh Shuaib Booley, announced that hundreds of people would continue to flock to the streets of various cities in South Africa, denouncing the massacres, genocide, and aggression against Gaza. Sheikh Shuaib talked about the unity of the fronts that the enemy faced for the first time, which left him confused, not knowing where attacks were coming from, and praising the role of all the countries of the axis of resistance, without which we would not have reached this glory that we have reached. The Imam of Johannesburg Friday prayers affirmed that the liberation of Palestine is closer than ever before and that the divine promise for Al-Aqsa Mosque is near. All Arab and Islamic countries that have ties with the Zionist entity must stop all forms of security and economic cooperation and stop delivering oil to the Zionist entity until all rights are restored. Finally, Sheikh Shuaib spoke about the importance of the points and ideas presented by Dr. Tim and the necessity of unity among the peoples of the region to obtain their stolen rights.

In the end, the Secretary-General of the Gathering, Dr. Yahya Ghaddar, made a conclusion confirming the most prominent topics of the dialogue that were discussed, in addition to the most significant recommendations that emerged from the meeting, such as:
– The international resolutions on Palestine have not and will not be reached, because the Zionist Entity itself contradicts all of these resolutions, especially the so-called two-state solution, and because the “Arab-Israeli conflict” is a conflict of existence, not borders, for both the Zionists and the Arab and Islamic nation as well. The only solution left for us, especially After the Al-Aqsa flood, is the liberation of the entire Palestinian territory from the sea to the river and the removal of the Zionist entity, through resistance in all its forms, especially armed ones. “What was taken by force cannot be recovered except by force.”
– The American presence will continue to be targeted, especially its military bases in Syria and Iraq. This will result in the liberation of the entire occupied Syrian territory from Turkey and the elimination of ISIS, Al-Nusra, and other terrorist gangs.
– Iran, Russia, and China will have even greater roles because revitalizing diplomatic, economic, and security interaction will result in the gradual abandonment of the Arab and Islamic nations and the countries of West Asia from the hegemony of the United States, and here the BRICS organization has a major role.
– Working on the necessity of expanding the contradictions in the Western countries that support the Zionist regime by activating the popular movement, the effectiveness of which was demonstrated in its most beautiful ways in confronting the Zionist aggression against Gaza.
– Intensifying activities, cultural courses, and political conferences to arm our friends, the free people of the world, in the battle of ideas, explanation, and media.
