The final statement of the Tunis Forum in Support of the Resistance

“A nation that resists will triumph”
Partners in resistance
In God’s name
At the moment when the enemy thought that Palestine was forgotten and that the train of normalization had set off in the direction of integrating the Zionist entity into the region, isolating the axis of resistance and redrawing the geopolitical map of the Middle East in the way that the colonial powers had bet on since the beginning of the 1990s, and after more than a full decade of internal wars and disintegration in many Arab countries, the world woke up on the morning of October 7, 2023, to an event that was truly a flood that shattered the illusions of the Zionists and revealed their false power and ability to subjugate the region and isolate and contain the axis of resistance.
The resistance in the Gaza Strip has proven that the deadly siege that has struck it since 2007, and the decline in official and popular Arab interest in the Palestinian cause, which has fallen below the minimum level amid internal strife and fluctuations in the political, security and living conditions in most Arab countries, and normalization has expanded to include countries that were Traditionally considered to be in the resistance axis, it has proven that its level of readiness and the belief of its components, with their various backgrounds, in the inevitability of a comprehensive confrontation with the enemy that will inevitably lead to its demise, is stable and becoming more established in proportion to the deterioration of the enemy’s internal structure, and the beginning of the formation of the features of a new international order that breaks with the era of unipolarity and absolute hegemony of the United States of America, which has always been the main supporter of the usurping Zionist entity in the fields of military, economics, diplomacy, and media>
The Al-Aqsa flood was not just a round or a station on the path of the conflict with the Zionist enemy, but rather it was the defining moment that redirected the compass towards liberation and return that was squandered by the subjugation and surrender agreements at Camp David, Wadi Araba and Oslo.
The Al-Aqsa flood ended the illusion of peace and coexistence with the enemy as much as it demolished the falsity of the power and military, technological, and intelligence superiority of the usurping entity. Perhaps the magnitude of the shock caused by the Al-Aqsa flood is what explains the violence and barbarism of the Zionist reaction that targeted the Gaza Strip under the pretext of liberating soldiers and settlers captured by resistance, dismantling the resistance’s infrastructure, and stripping away its elements of strength. However, the development of events on the battlefield destroyed the enemy’s plans by a swift and rapid military operation. That prompted him to escalate the pace of destruction and indiscriminate killing of civilians and sabotage all aspects of life in the already besieged Gaza Strip. Let the world discover that the Zionist army is merely a killing machine that only targets women and children, and hospital, educational, and service institutions. The resistance’s ability to absorb enemy strikes and respond to them as appropriate is greater than everyone expected. But what mixed up the cards for those behind the “New Middle East” strategy was the steadfastness, cohesion, uniting around the resistance, and rejecting the displacement scenario by our people in Gaza, despite the horror of destruction and the unprecedented rise in the number of martyrs and wounded among civilians.
Because the Al-Aqsa flood represented the most mature episode on the path of conflict with the enemy, it recorded the size and depth of development that the resistance act had become. This was manifested first in the unity of the axis of resistance, whether at the level of coordination and harmony between the factions within each arena or at the level of integration between the various arenas of confrontation. The West Bank, which was suffocated by the Oslo Accords and the huge number of herds of barbaric settlers, entered the battle. The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon fulfilled the role expected of it in an unprecedented manner of effectiveness, efficiency, and precision in setting and achieving goals. In parallel, the arenas of Syria, Iraq, and Yemen entered the front line. The issue of Palestine regained its central position to be at the top of the priorities of the Arab masses throughout the Arab world, and even among broad sectors of citizens in various parts of the world.
The Al-Aqsa Flood, with its tremendous military achievement and its enormous humanitarian cost, reshaped the balance of power at the regional level. It also preached the reformulation of world maps by drawing a dividing line between the murderous criminals in the Zionist entity and their supporters from America and Europe, and between the rightful people and their supporters from the rest of the world.
In the face of this historical turning point in the path of the Arab-Zionist conflict, supporters of the choice of resistance and those who believe in it as an irreplaceable way to defeat aggression throughout the Arab world, and at the initiative of the Tunisian People’s Movement, called for holding a Tunisian forum to support the resistance on January 13 and 14, 2024, to establish a form New popular, political and media support for the resistance based on partnership and permanence.
The conference recorded:
1. Appreciating the position of the Tunisian state, president, and government, which declared from the first moment of the aggression its unconditional bias towards the Palestinian resistance and its legitimate right to confront the Zionist aggression by all available means. It also took the initiative to receive a large number of wounded and injured people and provided them with the utmost care and care, in addition to the facilities it provided to hold this forum and make it a success.
2. Confirming the expansion of the axis of resistance, confronting the Zionist enemy and its allies, and its involvement in the battle in many arenas.
3. The widening gap between the Arab popular position that spontaneously rushed towards embracing and supporting the resistance and the official position that did not live up to the minimum required, as a result of being subject to agreements and partnerships that are mostly hostile to the expectations of the Arab people.
4. The return of international popular and official unity around the Palestinian cause as a cause of national liberation. In this context, the attendees appreciated the initiative of the Republic of South Africa to file a genocide lawsuit against the Zionist entity before the International Court of Justice.
5. The inadequacy of the traditional forms of support that the Arab street has become accustomed to in all previous stages of confrontation.
Accordingly, the participants in the forum concluded by forming a working mechanism based on partnership in bearing the cost of resistance and its benefits, and coordination in this regard with national and national institutions and bodies in the Arab world and the diaspora under the supervision of a coordination body, which works to:
1. Pushing towards developing the official Arab position so that it responds to what is required of it in the face of the Zionist-American aggression, and using all available means of pressure to stop it immediately and permanently.
2. Taking Advantage of international sympathy for the Palestinian cause by connecting all political, civil, and human rights activists around the world.
3. Calling for organizing relief convoys throughout the Arab world to provide the urgent life needs of our people in Gaza and working to ensure that they do not remain hostage at the Rafah crossing.
4. Forming a legal team to follow up on enemy crimes before international human rights bodies.
5. Working to integrate Arab trade unions and professional bodies more effectively in supporting the resistance and steadfastness of our people in all of Palestine.
6. Organizing simultaneous movements in various Arab arenas around specific slogans, the first of which is opening the Rafah crossing and lifting the siege on Gaza.
Glory and eternity to the martyrs of the resistance in Palestine and Lebanon.
Greetings and respect to our steadfast people in Gaza, led by the mothers of the martyrs and those wounded.
Shame and dishonor on the normalizers who agreed to be in the camp against their nation.
