كلمة إرميليندا مالكوت، المنسق العام للتجمع العالمي لدعم خيار المقاومة في بلجيكا، خلال حفل تكريم الجنرال سليماني.

1. أود أن أشكر منظمي اجتماعنا هنا في طهران، وخاصة الدكتور غدار والدكتور باراتي.
2. أود أن أحيي المقاومة، والمقاومة الفلسطينية بشكل خاص، ليس فقط لانتصاراتها العسكرية، بل أيضاً لعملها الإعلامي الممتاز، الذي أظهر للعالم أجمع الوجه القبيح للصهيونية والفاشية. أيضا أن الشعب الفلسطيني على طريق النصر، وأن المقاومة لن تتوقف حتى تتحرر فلسطين.
3. الغرب مستعد للانهيار: إن حرب الناتو ضد روسيا في أوكرانيا هي فشل تام، مما دفع الاتحاد الأوروبي إلى تدمير اقتصاده لصالح الولايات المتحدة. التناقضات بين الدول الإمبريالية تتفاقم، وهو ما يفسر تدمير نوردستريم. ولأول مرة ستدفع الولايات المتحدة عواقب أفعالها.
4. الحرب جزء لا يتجزأ من الإمبريالية، وسيستمر الغرب في زرع بذور الفوضى. إن البعد الاقتصادي مهم للغاية في هذا الشأن: فالرأسمالية تعاني من أزمة منذ عام 2008. واليوم، لا يزال فائض الإنتاج عند 30٪، مما يدفع هذا النظام نحو تدمير العديد من القوى الإنتاجية. وهذا ما يفسر أن الدول الإمبريالية تذهب إلى الحرب. ولا ينبغي لنا أن ننسى أن فترتي الكساد الأعظم في عامي 1873 و1929 انتهتا باندلاع الحربين العالميتين الأولى والثانية.
5. أحد الأبعاد المهمة للهيمنة الأمريكية هو أن إنفاقها الدفاعي يعتمد بشكل مباشر على قدرتها على الاقتراض، والتي أصبحت الآن مهددة بشكل خطير بسبب زعزعة استقرار الدولار.
6. تمثل مجموعة البريكس والمؤسسات الدولية الأخرى مثل منظمة شنغهاي للتعاون والاتحاد الأوراسي تهديدًا كبيرًا للهيمنة الغربية.
7. ومع ذلك، لا يمكننا التنبؤ بأن المستقبل سيشهد مواجهة بين كتلتين، مجموعة البريكس والغرب. ومن الممكن أن تنشأ اتفاقيات ثنائية اعتمادًا على المصالح المحددة لكل دولة. ويعتبر موقف المملكة العربية السعودية الانتهازي بشأن فلسطين مثالاً على ذلك.
سيكون من المضلل اعتبار أن تراجع الولايات المتحدة يمنعها من إقامة تحالفات جديدة مع تلك الدول الانتهازية.
8. وبالتالي فإن الأفق الوحيد أمام شعوب العالم هو النضال الثوري من أجل تدمير الإمبريالية.
9. تواجه بلدان مثل إيران وفنزويلا وكوبا ونيكاراغوا وبوليفيا، التي اختارت طريق الثورة، معارضة قوية مؤيدة للإمبريالية التي لا تتردد في استخدام الانقلابات والتخريب والإرهاب، وما إلى ذلك.
10. وهذا يدل على أن التحرك نحو عالم متعدد الأقطاب لا يزال غير مستقر إلى حد كبير، وأنه يجب علينا العمل على تدمير الإمبريالية، وليس استيعابها.
11. الجمهورية الإسلامية الإيرانية نموذجاً. منذ انتصار الثورة على شاه إيران، حاولت الإمبريالية الأمريكية وإسرائيل تدمير الجمهورية الإسلامية، لكنهما لم ينجحا ولن ينجحا. وتشكل التجربة الإيرانية حجر عثرة أمام المخططات الإمبريالية والصهيونية.
12. كمناهض للإمبريالية، أود أيضًا أن أرحب بالمساعدة التي قدمتها إيران لفنزويلا، والتي تتعرض لضغوط من بريطانيا العظمى، التي تريد احتلال إسكيفو.
13. مثلما أن أمريكا اللاتينية قارة مناهضة للإمبريالية، بأبطالها، فإننا نتماثل مع القائد قاسم سليماني، الذي يشبه إرنستو تشي جيفارا. نحييه في الذكرى الرابعة لاستشهاده.
14. منذ اغتياله، تغير العالم نحو الأفضل، مع انتفاضة المزيد والمزيد من الشعوب ضد الإمبريالية، وهذا جزئيًا ثمرة عمله.

Statement of Ermelinde Malcotte, General Coordinator of GGSCR in Belgium, during the tribute event to General Soleimani. Tehran January 4, 2024.
1. I would like to thank the organizers of our meeting here in Tehran, and specially Dr Ghaddar and Dr Barati.

2. I would like to salute the Resistance, and in particular the Palestinian Resistance, not only for its military victories, but also for its excellent communications work, which has shown the whole world the hideous face of Zionism and fascism; but also that the Palestinian people are on the road to victory, and that the Resistance will not stop until Palestine is liberated.

3. The West is ready to collapse: NATO’s war against Russia in Ukraine is a total failure which has led the European Union to destroy its own economy for the benefit of the USA. The contradictions between imperialist countries are worsening, which explains the destruction of Nordstream. And for the first time the USA will pay the consequences of its actions.

4. War is consubstantial with imperialism, and the West will continue to sow chaos. The economic dimension is very important in that matter: capitalism has been in crisis since 2008. Today, overproduction is still at 30%, which pushes this system towards the destruction of so many productive forces. That explains that imperialist countries goes to war. Let’s not forget that the two Great Depressions of 1873 and 1929 ended in the First and Second World Wars.

5. An important dimension of US hegemony is that its Defence spending is directly dependent on its ability to borrow, which is now seriously threatened by the destabilisation of the dollar.

6. The BRICS and other international institutions such as the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation and the Eurasian Union represent a major threat to Western hegemony.

7. However, we cannot predict that the future will consist of a confrontation between two blocs, the BRICS and the West. It is quite possible that bilateral agreements will emerge depending on the specific interests of each country. Saudi Arabia’s opportunistic position on Palestine is an example.
It would be misleading to consider that the decline of the United States prevents it from forging new alliances with that opportunists states

8. Consequently, the only prospect for the peoples of the world is revolutionary struggle to destroy imperialism.

9. Countries such as Iran, Venezuela, Cuba, Nicaragua and Bolivia, which have chosen the path of revolution, face strong pro-imperialist opposition, which does not hesitate to use coups d’état, sabotage, terrorism, etc.

10. This shows that the move towards a multipolar world remains profoundly unstable, and that we must work to destroy imperialism, not to accommodate it.

11. The Islamic Republic of Iran is a model. Since the triumph of the revolution against the Shah of Iran, US imperialism and Israel have tried to destroy the Islamic Republic, but they have not succeeded and will not succeed. Iranian experience is a stumbling block to imperialist and Zionist plans.

12. As an anti-imperialist, I would also like to welcome the aid given by Iran to Venezuela, which is being pressured by Great Britain, which wants to occupy Esequivo.

13. Just as Latin America is an anti-imperialist continent, with its heroes, we identify with Commander Qasam Soleimani, who is comparable to Ernesto Che Guevara. We pay tribute to him on the fourth anniversary of his martyrdom.

14. Since his assassination, the world has changed for the better, with more and more peoples rising up against imperialism, and this is partly the fruit of his work.
